Wichita State helped to ensure that United Way of the Plains 2010 donations will be invested for maximum community impact through the following volunteers, who served on the allocations review panels: Martha Shawver, senior associate provost; Ray Fox, professor emeritus, biological sciences; Frankie Brown, director, Human Resources; Naomi Strong, human resources director, RSC; and Karen Harmon, administrative specialist, Financial Operations. The volunteers allocated funding for 83 local programs.
