Alpha Phi to raise money to support cardiac care and research

The Gamma Xi chapter of Alpha Phi at WSU will hold its fourth annual Viva la Red Cocktail and Casino Night philanthropy event at the Boulevard Banquet Hall, 900 George Washington Boulevard, from 7-10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26. The event is open to the public, including faculty and staff members, Wichita residents and students. The evening will include Vegas-style casino games, food, drinks, music and raffles.

Tickets are $20 for faculty, staff and the public, and $10 for students. Proceeds from the event will go directly to the Alpha Phi Foundation, which supports causes that raise awareness of and fund research for woman's heart health. Last year, the Gamma Xi chapter of Alpha Phi raised almost $4,000 for the Alpha Phi Foundation.
