The Spring Career Fair, hosted by the Office of Career Services, will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 4, in Charles Koch Arena. Recruiters from local, regional and national companies will attend. Employers will be recruiting business, engineering and liberal arts and sciences students and graduates for full-time and internship opportunities. Aircraft, pharmaceutical, insurance and technology are some of the industries represented at the fair this year.

Companies registered for the event include AgVantis Inc., Brocade, Consolidated Graphics, CPI Qualified Plan Consultants Inc., Department of Corrections -- Juvenile Detention Facility, Hospira Pharmaceuticals, Journal Broadcast Group, KMUW, Wichita Radio Reading Service, WSU Media Resources, Koch Industries Inc., Learjet Inc., LSI Corporation, Northwestern Mutual Finance Network, Peri Software Solutions Inc., Social Security Administration, Spirit AeroSystems, Sunflower Electric Power Corporation, Target, U.S. Navy Officer Programs, Verizon Wireless, Walgreens and Westar Energy.

The career fair provides an opportunity for graduating students and alumni to meet employers and ask about employment opportunities. However, all students are invited to the fair to network with employers and find out what it takes to get a job after graduation.

Those who attend the fair are encouraged to dress appropriately and bring copies of their resume or business cards to leave with recruiters. Free Avery business card kits are available in Career Services.
