The WSU Biology Department is awaiting a funding decision regarding a federal grant to renovate 6,000 square feet of existing research space on the fourth floor of Hubbard Hall. The plan entails modernization of research laboratories and the purchase of new research equipment. Per federal requirements regarding the support of construction projects, public notice of the proposed renovation must be provided. Any individual or group may comment on, or request information, concerning the environmental implications of the proposed project. Communications should be addressed to campus box 7 or the Office of Research Administration, WSU, Wichita, KS 67260-0007, and must be received by April 1. The federal grant application may be reviewed at ORA during normal working hours.
