* Interested faculty, staff and students are welcome to participate in an interdisciplinary Weekly Climate Change Seminar every Tuesday during the semester from 2-3:30 p.m. in 353 Jabara Hall. This program is supported by a Kansas NSF EPSCoR grant with an interdisciplinary, inter-institutional and inter-sector partnership.
* The psychology department will host "Improving Youth Outcomes Through Family Intervention to Achieve Public Health Impact" from 3:30-5 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 9) in 127 Jabara Hall. The speaker will be Alex Mason, associate director of the National Research Institute for Child and Family Studies at Boys Town, Neb.
* Go behind the scenes of Gordon Parks' revolutionary work for LIFE magazine with Bobbi Baker Burrows, former photo editor for LIFE and current director of photography for LIFE books. "Life at LIFE with Gordon Parks: A Photo Editor's Story" will be presented at 7 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 9) in the CAC Theater. Admission is free.
* WSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 9) in Lowe Auditorium, Hughes Metropolitan Complex. Call 978-3233 for tickets.
* The Responsible Conduct of Research series continues from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11, in 203 RSC with a lecture and discussion, "Principles for Ethical Decision Making in Research."
