Bo Li of Purdue University will present "The Value of Multi-proxy Reconstruction of Past Climate" at 3 p.m. Friday, March 12, in 372 Jabara Hall. The talk, sponsored by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, is mostly based on her recent joint work with Doug Nychka (director of the Institute for Mathematics Applied to Geosciences, National Center for Atmospheric Research), and Caspar Ammann (IMAGe, NCAR).
