Ulrich explores 'Kansas and the Great Migration' today (Wednesday, March 17)

Using oral histories, family photos and memorabilia, examine one African American family's journey to Topeka with "Kansas and the Great Migration" during Senior Wednesday (for art enthusiasts 55+) today (Wednesday, March 17). The presentation will be led by Doretha K. Williams, a recipient of the Mellon Mays University dissertation grant from the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation. Her dissertation focuses on the lives and activities of African American women in Kansas from 1890-1930. This event is held in conjunction with the exhibition "Crossroads: The Art of Gordon Parks" on view through Sunday, April 11.
