Class to celebrate student's 100th birthday

People of all ages take noncredit classes at Wichita State University, but it's not every day that one of the students is turning 100. Iris Bain began taking classes at WSU in September 1977, and is currently enrolled in "Great Decisions 2010," a noncredit political science class that meets from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoons March 4-May 6.

In honor of her 100th birthday Saturday, March 27, a reception will be held in Bain's honor after Thursday's class from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 25, at the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex.

The media are welcome to attend.
