The opening for the exhibit "Separate Is Not Equal," showing photographs, artifacts and documents highlighting official and unofficial segregation in the Wichita public schools during the past 130 years, will be from 2-3:30 p.m., Sunday, April 18, in Special Collections at Ablah Library. The program will include remarks by Research on Black Wichita contributors and live music. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served. The exhibit is prepared by the McCormick School Museum and Special Collections and is open 8-5 p.m. Monday-Friday through Monday, May 17. For information, contact University Libraries at 978-3586.
