* The opening for the exhibit "Separate Is Not Equal," showing photographs, artifacts and documents highlighting official and unofficial segregation in the Wichita public schools during the past 130 years, will be from 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 18, in Special Collections at Ablah Library. Admission is free.
* The WSU Shift Space student art gallery will host its third annual "Project Run-A-Way" Wearable Art Fashion Show and Fundraiser at 8 p.m. today (Friday, April 16) at the gallery, 800 E. Third St. in Old Town. Tickets will be available at the door, which opens at 7 p.m., or at the McKnight Art Center office. Cost is $20 each, $30 per couple and $10 per student.
* Don't miss the annual Shocker Pride Celebration from 2:30-4 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, in the RSC ballroom. * The College of Education will host its 15th annual Graduate Research Showcase from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 24, at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex. View presentations, posters and portfolios from doctoral dissertations and field studies, master's theses and portfolios.
