CUW rolled out the red carpet to raise money for scholarships

The Council of University Women thanks the WSU community and friends for their support and hopes you enjoyed "Scholarship with the Stars" on April 14. Attendees walked the red carpet, shopped the silent auction, had a VIP luncheon, visited the Wall of Stars and had various opportunities to win. The lucky tickets holders for 50/50, Night on the Town, special door prize winners and Wall of Stars honorees are listed below.

50/50 Hat: The hat had more than $700 in it. Half of the money goes to the ticket holder; the other half benefits the scholarship fund. The lucky ticket holder was Barth Hague from University Relations.

Night on the Town: This lucky winner receives overnight accommodations at the Hyatt Regency and a complimentary dinner for two at the Harvest Kitchen and Bar, a restaurant in the Hyatt Regency, a $350 value. The lucky ticket holder was Jennifer Roberts from Liberal Arts Advising Center.

Special Door Prize Drawings: Patrons could purchase a $1 ticket and put it in the prize box of their choice for an opportunity to win. The four items were donated by GM Clothes Horse and an anonymous donor. The winners are listed below.
- Floral print scarf: Diane Monger, WSU alumna
- Framed life quote: Wade Robinson, Campus Life and University Relations
- Purse organizer: Rhonda Lewis-Moss, Psychology
- Earring and necklace set: David Casida, University Dining Services

Wall of Stars: Many WSU faculty and staff were honored with a star on the Wall of Stars. Congratulations to all the honorees on the Wall of Stars -- Alice the Snake, William "Bill" Bischoff, Brian A.
