Important changes to the Emory Lindquist Honors Program were unanimously approved recently by the Faculty Senate Honors Committee and the University Curriculum Committee. Those changes have resulted in new admission requirements, new completion requirements, new course offerings, new orientation opportunities, a new living-learning community and new co-curricular activities (arts, entertainment, social, community service, etc.). The changes will create an Honors Program that students will be excited about, according to William Vanderburgh, executive director of the Office of Faculty Development and Student Success, which has responsibility for the program as a result of the reshaping process this year.
