Faculty to be recognized for research, teaching and creative activity

Eight Wichita State faculty members are being honored during the 2010 University Faculty Awards ceremony at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 11. The awards will be presented as part of the spring general faculty meeting in the RSC ballroom. Honorees were chosen for setting the gold standard for teaching, research and creative activities at WSU. A reception starts at 2:30 p.m. with light refreshments to meet and greet the honorees. Jill Docking, Kansas Board of Regents, will make comments and present awards. The faculty general meeting will be held immediately following the awards ceremony.
