The Wu Crew, a Wichita State organization of Shocker students, faculty and staff serving the Wichita community, has an opportunity to raise funds needed for heart disease and stroke research and education. The 2010 Greater Wichita Start! Heart Walk will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at WSU's Cessna Stadium; gates open at 8 a.m. Wu Crew members are encouraged to join a WSU-affiliated team.

An online fundraising tool may be used to e-mail your friends, family and colleagues to ask them to support the team and the cause. Walkers are eligible for a Start! Heart Walk T-shirt once they have raised a minimum of $100.
