College of Engineering to host competition
WSU will award a $2,000 PLTW scholarship to each first-place team member; $1,000 to each second-place team member; and $500 to each third-place team member who enrolls in one of WSU's College of Engineering programs in Fall 2010. These scholarships are renewable for four years.
The College of Engineering also will host a PLTW Showcase for students in other PLTW classes, including aerospace engineering, biotechnical engineering, introduction to engineering design and principles of engineering. More than 30 teams will showcase projects and the winners in each category will receive $50 gift certificates.
The event is open to the public and all are invited to attend.
