Student Activities Council encourages you and your departments to host an event during Fall Welcomefest 2010. Welcomefest is designed to welcome new and returning students to campus the first two weeks of the semester, Aug. 15-28. Ideas for events include contests, information tables, open houses, food fests, movies, forums, dances, fashion shows, etc. If your department will host an event, let SAC know by July 1, and SAC will help promote it through Welcomefest publications and the Times, which is mailed directly to more than 11,000 students.
