L. Victor Collins has been named director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs effective July 12. Collins comes from the University of Minnesota, where he currently serves as director of the Martin Luther King program. He has years of experience working with and starting multicultural centers. According to Cheryl Adams, dean of students, Collins has a passion for working with students. He clearly demonstrates his understanding of the challenges and opportunities students of color and other underrepresented groups face as they embark on their higher education journey.
