Local art historian to discuss Kansas landscapes Sunday

Join Mira Merriman, WSU emeritus professor of art history, for a look at the creative output of Kansas landscape artist Harold Hogan at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 6, in 210 McKnight Art Center West (School of Art and Design), with a reception immediately following at the Ulrich Museum. Admission is free. Merriman catalogued Hogan's work and served as guest curator for the exhibition "Harold Hogan: Maestro of the Kansas Prairie," on view through Aug. 1 in the Grafly Gallery on the first floor of the Ulrich Museum. Hogan graduated from WSU with a Master of Fine Arts in 1976 and died in 2002.
