Join the WSU Alumni Association this August on a trek of remembrance to Colorado to visit the site of the 1970 Wichita State football plane crash, in which 31 players, coaches, boosters and university administrators lost their lives. A bus will depart Wichita on the morning of Friday, Aug. 13, and travel to Frisco, Colo. Travelers will hike the mountain to visit the crash site on Saturday, and then travel to Denver for an evening of rest and reflection. The bus will depart Denver and return to Wichita on Sunday, Aug. 15. More information about accommodations and other trip details will be available soon.
