Reminders

* In honor of Father's Day, Lake Afton Public Observatory is offering free admission to fathers and grandfathers today (Friday, June 18) and Saturday, June 19. * A memorial service for professor emeritus Bert Smith will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at the University Congregational Church, 9209 E. 29th St. Contributions to the Bert Smith Memorial in Aerospace Engineering can be made in care of the WSU Foundation, campus box 2, or online at http://www.wichita.edu/memorials.

* The Office of Financial Operations reminds those departments selling goods that the sales tax rate in Sedgwick County will increase from 6.3 percent to 7.3 percent effective Thursday, July 1.
