* In honor of Father's Day, Lake Afton Public Observatory is offering free admission to fathers and grandfathers today (Friday, June 18) and Saturday, June 19. * The Office of Financial Operations reminds those departments selling goods that the sales tax rate in Sedgwick County will increase from 6.3 percent to 7.3 percent effective Thursday, July 1.
