Please be advised that a power shutdown has been scheduled for this afternoon (Friday, June 18) affecting the Engineering Building, Geology Building and Neff Hall. The outage will begin shortly after noon and power should be restored no later than 4 p.m. Although this is not an emergency, an unsafe electrical power condition has been identified in these facilities that requires a shutdown and repair in a relatively urgent manner and time frame. While inconvenient, it is hoped that the planned outage on a Friday afternoon will minimize the disruption of activities in these buildings.
