Two prominent retired faculty die

Retired WSU faculty member Eugene Savaiano passed away Friday, June 11. He was 96. A memorial service was held Wednesday, June 16. Savaiano began his career at the Universty of Wichita in 1946 and became head of the Spanish department in 1947. In the 1960s, he helped found the WSU Summer Program in Puebla, Mexico.
