The Tallgrass Film Association and Uncheckable Films will present the Midwest premiere of Wichita-native and WSU alum Lee Whitman's feature film debut "War Stories." The film will screen at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at the Wichita Orpheum Theatre. Tickets are $10 at the door. Whitman will be in attendance, along with cast and crew members for a Q-and-A session following the screening. Whitman has been writing, directing and producing films for more than 10 years. His short film, "Inspiration Point," was featured in the Tallgrass Film Festival, and his original screenplay, "Out For Dinner," won the Holman Screenwriting Competition in 2006 from Wichita State.
