Engineering camp to host project presentation today
During the one-week day camp for high school students, campers learned to program microcontrollers and build simple circuits which control motors, lights and LEDs. Using sound, light and infrared sensors, the campers then build final projects which react to their environment. Come see hats with LEDs attached, modified remote control cars and more.
The camp was overseen by John Harrison, director of WSU's Center for Research in Arts, Technology, Education, and Learning (CRATEL). He was assisted by PWI Chief Engineer Tom McGuire, SEEDs director Ivy Lanning, and a great group of counselors. For more information, call 208-4925.
