The Wichita State University Foundation will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) facility at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 22, in the open lot south of the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex, 5015 E. 29th St. N.

The $6.6 million AEGD campaign began in October 2008 with the announcement of a $3 million lead gift by Delta Dental of Kansas and the Delta Dental of Kansas Foundation.

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in Room 138 in the complex building.
