* The Office of Research Administration announces an internal deadline for faculty members interested in applying for NSF Solicitation 10-568, Materials Research Centers and Teams. If you are interested, submit a one-page project summary to Sarah Haug at sarah.haug@wichita.edu by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4. Only one submission is allowed per organization. If you have any questions, contact Haug at the above e-mail or 978-6806.

* The University Bookstore will conduct summer textbook buyback from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. (today) Wednesday, July 28, and Thursday, July 29, and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, July 30.

* WSU Libraries is offering summer workshops on citation searching for faculty preparing tenure, promotion and other documents. Upcoming workshops will be held from 2:30-3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, July 28) and 3:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, in 217 Ablah Library. * Presession and fall class shells have been created in Blackboard and are available for faculty. Students will gain access to their courses in Blackboard on Saturday, July 31. If a faculty member does not want students to have access on July 31, they will need to make their class unavailable via class settings in Blackboard.

* TIAA-CREF will offer one-on-one counseling sessions from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 10-11, in 313 RSC. Call (800) 732-8353 to make an appointment.
