Reminders
* Come and hear summer research students' oral and poster presentations at the 15th Annual McNair Research Symposium, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. today (Friday, July 30) in 203 Rhatigan Student Center.
* Departmental changes and corrections for the 2010-11 Campus Directory need to be made and returned to University Relations by today (Friday, July 30) at campus box 62 or 102 Morrison Hall. If there are no changes, departments are asked to sign and return the letter marking "No Corrections" on the letter. This applies only to Departmental Listing, University Offices and University Teaching Faculty listed in the white pages of the 2009-10 directory, pp 8-34.
* International graduate students have two ways to prove their English proficiency for purposes of applying for graduate assistantships. The first is the Internet-based TOEFL. Graduate School requires a minimum of 23 on the speaking section of this test as proof of English proficiency. If the student has not taken the Internet-based TOEFL or has less than a score of 23, the institutional Test of Spoken English is available through WSU's Office of International Education.
* The steam supply for the campus will be turned off Monday, Aug. 2, through Tuesday, Aug. 3, to make repairs in the distribution main piping. Some campus buildings will lose hot water and most buildings will seem cooler than normal.
