Did you know that graduate students now have two ways to prove their English proficiency for purposes of applying for graduate assistantships? The first way is the Internet-based TOEFL. Graduate School requires a minimum of 23 on the speaking section of this test as proof of English proficiency. If the student has not taken the Internet-based TOEFL or has less than the score of 23, the institutional Test of Spoken English is available through WSU's Office of International Education.
