Nouveau Quintette will present an Art for Your Ears concert in the outdoor plaza of the Ulrich Museum of Art at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5. Admission is free. Made famous by the legendary Django Reinhardt, gypsy jazz is alive today in the Nouveau Quintette, which plays such '20s and '30s classics as "Sweet Georgia Brown" and "Dark Eyes," but also pushes the tradition in surprising, modern directions, including American bluegrass and Brazilian choros.
