Join us from 11 a.m.-noon and 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, and 1-2 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, in Ablah Library beginning by the Circulation Desk. * TIAA-CREF will offer one-on-one counseling sessions from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 10-11, in 313 RSC. Call (800) 732-8353 to make an appointment.

* The Office of International Education wants to give a warm welcome to new international students by giving them new fleece blankets. The cost is just $3 apiece. A tax-deductible contribution can be made payable to "International Connections" and sent to the WSU Foundation, Box 2. In addition, collection containers are in offices around campus. * Convocation 2010 is scheduled for 11 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Aug. 31, in Charles Koch Arena, followed by lunch. Convocation is an official fall event that focuses on celebrating the opening of the academic year and serves as a special welcome to our student body. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.
