* The Office of Career Services is offering brief presentations to classes at the start of the fall semester highlighting their services including career counseling/testing, resume critiques, mock interviews and the Hire-A-Shocker job database. Career Services also can provide more specific presentations (i.e., resume building, job searching). Call 978-3435 to set up presentation times.

* WSU Libraries is offering workshops on citation searching for faculty preparing tenure, promotion and other documents. Workshops will be held from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, and 3:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, in 217 Ablah Library. * Kansas Health Foundation Visiting Professor Steve Olson from Georgia State University will present "Love and Responsible Leadership in the Professions" during a free lecture at WSU from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, in 203 Rhatigan Student Center. * Employee meetings to discuss the new State of Kansas Group Long Term Care Insurance Program through Genworth Life Insurance Co. will be held at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, in 223 RSC. Enrollment in the program continues through Sept. 30.

* Because of budgetary issues, the university print shop will close its doors effective Sept. 17. All departments are advised to place orders for stationery, envelopes and business cards as soon as possible in order to be processed before the closing date. All orders already in the print shop will be completed by the established deadlines. The copy centers are not affected and will remain open.
