* A memorial service for WSU student-athlete Mitch Caster, who died in a car accident Monday in Iowa, will be held at 4 p.m. today (Friday, Aug. 27) at Eck Stadium. Gates will open at 3 p.m. The WSU Foundation is collecting gifts for a memorial fund.
* Bring the kids for Family Fun Day from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, on the McKnight Art Center plaza at the Ulrich Museum. Make and take home your own fast-moving spin art or race-car hat, listen to fast-paced superhero stories, meet and have your picture taken with WSU's own Formula and Baja racing teams. Admission is free.
* Faculty and staff who are interested in serving at The Lord's Diner can attend a food handler class at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, in Bishop's Hall at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, corner of Douglas and Roosevelt. If interested, contact Kimber at 218-5686 or at kimberkaiser68@gmail.com.
* Camp WU Shock is an exciting, family-friendly program designed to keep children ages 5-12 involved, active and safe on their days off from school.
