The 2010 Physics Seminar Series, dedicated to the memory of past physics chair John Breazeale, will focus on the theme "Gravitation, Cosmology and Studying the Distant Universe" this fall. The first presentation is "Black Holes and Curved Space-time" by University of Chicago professor Robert Wald, whose textbook is standard for anyone wanting to study cosmology, at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, in 128 Jabara Hall.
