Student Activities Council and WSU Greek Life are co-sponsoring "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, in the RSC patio and courtyard. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness about and to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence against women. It consists of a one-mile march with men walking in high-heeled shoes. There also will be dinner along with a band to conclude the evening's events. A number of student organizations will cheer on the men who are participating in the campus walk.
