* The next meeting of the Pre-Tenure Club, a mutual support and accountability group designed to help probationary faculty meet the demands of achieving tenure, will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Sept. 9) in 115B Neff Hall. All probationary faculty are welcome to come to any meetings of this group. Feel free to bring your lunch.

* The WSU Department of Geology and the Department of Geology at the University of Kansas will hold a colloquium featuring Jeremy Hourigan presenting "Influence of the Pacific Margin 'Free-Face' on Tibetan Plateau Growth: Insights from the Qilian Shan and Qaidam Basin" at 4 p.m. today (Thursday, Sept. 9) in the Wireless Learning Space in the Media Resources Center.
