* The WSU Department of Geology, in coordination with the Department of Geology at the University of Kansas, will hold a colloquium featuring Steven Arcone presenting "Radar Horizons in Geologic Strata: Rocks, Dirt and Ice" at 4 p.m. today (Thursday, Sept. 16) in the Wireless Learning Space, Media Resources Center.
* Michael Prince, professor of chemical engineering at Bucknell University and co-director of the National Effective Teaching Institute, will lead a workshop "Getting Started with Problem-Based Learning." The workshop will be offered twice, from 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, in 215/217 RSC. Lunch for all participants will be noon-1 pm. Space is limited, so you must register in advance by emailing tamre.bohn@wichita.edu.

* Changes were recently made to student and graduate electronic personnel action forms (ePAFs) to make the funding lines viewable to approvers in Banner Self Service. There are new reports available to ePAF approvers and originators in Reporting Services. ePAF originators are asked to review this memo and all new documentation. Questions?
