WSU first lady Shirley Beggs talks with KMUW's Carla Eckels about the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Wichita, a 5K walk/run at Towne East Square this weekend (Saturday, Sept. 25). President Don Beggs and Shirley Beggs are the honorary chairs for this year's race. She will discuss the race and battling cancer in the interview that airs Friday, Sept. 24, during NPR's Morning Edition on KMUW 89.1 at about 5:50 a.m., 7:50 a.m. and 9:50 a.m.
