National researcher/economist is coming to WSU National researcher/economist is coming to WSU

The Office of Cooperative Education and Work-Based Learning, Career Services and the Office for Faculty Development and Student Success are excited to bring Philip D. Gardner, director of research for the Collegiate Employment Research Institute at Michigan State University, to the Wichita State campus Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 5-6.

During his visit, Gardner will speak to WSU students, faculty and staff; Wichita area employers; and K-12 educators from Wichita and the surrounding school districts. The educator presentation is co-sponsored by the College of Education.

Students, faculty, advisers and staff are invited to attend Gardner's presentations on the transition from college to work, early socialization and career progression in the workplace, workforce readiness and other areas related to college student studies.
