The Wichita State University Center for Economic Development and Business Research will host its 31st Annual Wichita Area Economic Outlook Conference from 8-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, in Century II Convention Hall .

Speakers will include Kenneth Simonson, chief economist of the Associated General Contractors of America; Stephan Thurman from the Economic Bureau of the U.S. Department of State; Jeff Turner, president and CEO of Spirit AeroSystems Inc.; Vincent Amanor-Boadu from the Department of Agriculture Economics at Kansas State University; and Jeremy Hill, director of the Center for Economic Development and Business Research in the W. Frank Barton School of Business at WSU.
