* Lambda Alpha, the National Anthropology Honor Society, is holding a winter clothing drive through October to benefit United Methodist Open Door's Klothes Kloset. Donation boxes are in Neff Hall and the RSC. All clean clothing in good condition will be accepted, especially coats, jeans, gloves, hats, sweaters, etc. The Klothes Kloset has provided clothing to more than 40,000 Wichitans so far this year.
* Attention international visa holders: Charles Pratt, liaison officer from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, will give a public presentation on the challenges associated with status compliance at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, on H-1B issues, and 3 p.m. on F-1 and J-1 issues in 218 Hubbard Hall. He is highly qualified to answer any questions international employees, students or visitors may have.
