* Paul Wooley, WSU and Via Christi, will present a molecular bioscience lecture, "Adapting Aerospace Materials for Orthopaedic Applications," at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 13) in 224 McKinley Hall as part of the Fall 2010 Chemistry Colloquium series.

* The Classified Senate will host a benefits Open Enrollment discussion at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 13) in 305 RSC for all classified staff. Connie Landreth of Human Resources will present information regarding benefit changes and answer any questions you might have.

* The multidisciplinary improvisation club will meet from 5:30-7 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 13) at the amphitheater (north side of Duerksen Fine Arts Center). It's a great day for artists to join: paint, chalk and yarn are the day's props. For more information, call Ellen Burr at 978-6272.

* Camp WU Shock is an exciting, family-friendly program designed to keep children ages 5-12 involved, active and safe on their days off from school. Upcoming dates are Thursday and Friday, Oct. 14-15; and Thursday and Friday, Nov. 11-12. * Student success is the focus of the television show "Wichita State & The World" in October. Provost Gary L. Miller interviews Keith Pickus, associate provost for academic programs, and William Vanderburgh, director of the Office for Faculty Development and Student Success. The program will air at 8 p.m. Sundays; 9 a.m. Mondays; 3 p.m. Tuesdays; 8 p.m. Thursdays; and 1 a.m. Fridays.
