Kansas Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Dance, has 1,500 members in the health, physical education, recreation and dance professions. Many of these members are public school educators. The organization is the leading advocate in Kansas for promoting healthy and active lifestyles. This is the 90th anniversary of the organization. It is anticipated that about 500 members will attend this year's convention at Wichita State Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 20-22, where they will participate in educational seminars and clinics, social events, and visiting hospitality and vendor areas.
