The University Libraries and Department of English are hosting several events this fall as part of the Seventh Annual Poetry and Fiction Reading Series. The first event from noon-1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, in the lower level of Ablah Library, features Scott Blackwood, this fall's WSU Visiting Fiction Writer in Residence. An award-winning author, Blackwood has published a novel, "We Agreed to Meet Just Here" (New Issues Press, 2009) and a book of short stories, "In the Shadow of Our House" (SMU Press, 2001).
