Don and Shirley Beggs help with KMUW pledge drive

Wichita Public Radio will feature President Don Beggs and his wife, Shirley, during its fall pledge drive this week. The Beggses will talk live on air about the value of public radio and why they support it from 11 a.m.-noon today (Thursday, Oct. 28). Listen to 89.1 FM for their commentary or visit the station in person to make your pledge. KMUW is located in Blake Hall on 17th Street, across the street from the main WSU campus.

The KMUW Fall 2010 Pledge Drive has raised $124,767 to date. The goal for the drive is $220,000 in order to maintain the amount and quality of programming KMUW offers. KMUW has added local as well as national and international programs to create the 24/7 news and entertainment station that KMUW is today.
