A power outage is scheduled at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, for Lindquist Hall, Grace Wilkie Hall, Jabara Hall and Heskett Center, weather permitting. Power and lighting will be off in Lindquist and Grace Wilkie until 2 p.m. to allow for the replacement of a faulty campus transformer. Depending on the conditions within the transformer, Jabara Hall and Heskett Center may have to be powered down as well for this same period of time. Power to all buildings is expected to be restored by 2 p.m. that same day.

Occupants of Lindquist Hall, Grace Wilkie Hall, Jabara Hall and Heskett Center are advised to save sensitive computer information and documents and properly shut down computer equipment prior to the start of the outage at 8:30 am.

We apologize for any inconveniences presented by this power shutdown, but this Thanksgiving break maintenance shutdown should help pre-empt an accidental shutdown at an even more inconvenient time at a later date.
