* The application deadline for Office of Research Administration internal grant -- Award for Research/Creative Projects in Summer (ARCS) -- has been extended to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?691.
* The Office of Human Resources has only two more PeopleAdmin training classes scheduled for 2010: 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, in 204 Jabara Hall; and 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, in 124 Jabara Hall. You can sign up online through myWSU under the Help for Faculty/Staff tab using the training/workshop registration, schedule link.
* WSU Postal Services is providing letters from Santa now through Thursday, Dec. 16. There are eight different letters that can be purchased for $1 each. Letters will be sent to Santa Claus Indiana for a pictorial postmark, and then sent to the address you provide.
* The Unclassified Professionals Senate invites faculty and staff to donate new toys, non-perishable food, personal grooming products and other useful household goods for two Wichita area domestic violence shelters. Collection boxes are located all across campus for the Stuff the Bus campaign. The bus will stop in front of Morrison Hall from 9:45-10:15 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2. * The Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. is taking donations for hats and gloves for the homeless on the street. The box for donations is outside the double doors in front of RSC. Donations will be taken now until Thursday, Dec. 2.
