The Academy for Effective Teaching, an honorary organization of retired WSU professors, recently inducted six new members. The six emeriti professors were nominated by the current faculty on the basis of their distinguished teaching records. The new members are Carol Konek, women’s studies; Charles Halcomb, psychology; Gerald Loper, physics; Harold Popp, music; Janice Riordan, nursing; and Marvis Lary, physician assistant program.
