* The Department of Human Performance Studies will hold its 7th Annual Chili Cook-off and Student Appreciation Day today (Thursday, Dec. 9) in the Heskett Center lobby. Those who want to taste the chili need only bring a canned food item or $2, which will be donated to the Kansas Food Bank. General tasting begins at 11:30 a.m.

* The winners of the juried poster competition will be announced at 11:45 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10, in RSC Shocker Square by Provost Gary L. Miller and Graduate School Dean David McDonald. The poster competition was co-sponsored by the Regional Institute on Aging.

* Student Health will administer flu vaccines on the main floor of the RSC from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 9) to administer the flu vaccine. The cost is $10 for students, $20 for staff/faculty, with $5 off when you bring two nonperishable food items for the Kansas Food Bank.

* Faculty and staff who enjoy singing are invited to sing carols during the Holiday Brunch from 9:30-11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10, in the RSC ballroom. You may sing as long as you'd like during that time.
