On Dec. 7, the Wichita Scottish Rite presented the Evelyn Hendren Cassat Speech-Language-Hearing clinic at WSU with a check for $20,000. Proceeds from the Champagne and Chocolate event, held annually in the fall at the Scottish Rite building, are a major contribution to support services for children with language/literacy problems. The Scottish Rite committee again commended the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and WSU in general, for all the support and active participation in the event. Thanks to all in our WSU community and beyond who helped make this event a success.
