Calendar year 2010 is almost over and there are some important dates to consider for gifts to be processed by the WSU Foundation. Be sure to deliver any checks to the foundation by 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30. Any checks that come in over the holiday weekend will only be recorded for 2010 if they are accompanied by an envelope postmarked by Dec. 31. The cutoff for postmarked checks is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4. Credit cards must be processed by the foundation on Thursday, Dec. 30, regardless of postmark, for the gift to be recorded in 2010. The WSU Foundation will be closed Friday, Dec. 31. Don’t forget that donors can go to http://www.wichita.edu/foundation and process a gift with a credit card on Dec. 31 or any other time.
